First floor. Three bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 with basin) 1 twin. Two shower rooms. Small room with games and jigsaws. There is also a convertible settee in this small room.

Second floor. Two twin bedrooms (1 with shower/wc, 1 with full bathroom). One of these rooms also has a z-bed.

Outside. One acre garden with orchard and meadow, the views are outstanding. There is ample garden furniture 2 tables, 10 chairs, 2 sunloungers, a bbq, and enough parking for 2/3 cars. There is a working farm next door with a donkey, sheep and goats.

We welcome dogs and have included a dog basket and dog bowls.

A highchair, cot and stairgate are available on request.

Duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen and cleaning are available at an extra charge.

We have English-speaking caretakers.

Central heating has now been installed throughout the house which will make it a lovely cosy place to be during the winter months.

Christmas in France is a real treat!! And New Year is fun too with some fabulous places to go to eat and celebrate within 10 to 15 minutes' drive. And most restaurants are happy to organise a taxi for you if you don't want to drive home.

Location and activities:	Rural setting with large garden and stunning views of the surrounding countryside - some wonderful walking too. There are riding stables within a 10 minute drive of the property. There is an excellent indoor swimming pool at Villdieu-les-Poeles, a zoo only 30 minutes away. Le Mont St Michel is 45 minutes by car and magnificent

General:	There are both French and English electrical sockets in the property. A dog basket is available on request - there are also dog bowls in case you forget!!
Suitability:	Suitable for all ages - a cot, highchair and stairgates are available on request. The property might be difficult for those with mobility problems

'Other Attractions'
"The St Sever Forest is absolutely fabulous with lakes and picnic areas, a cafe/restaurant and beautiful walks. The Bayeux Tapestry is quite breath-taking, and Bayeux itself is a lovely town with great shopping and wonderful eating! You can also go horse riding from stables less than 10 minutes away. There is a magnificent indoor swimming pool in Villedieu for those days when the weather is not so good. Again, please contact us if you have any specific enquiries"

'Places to See'
"Le Mont St Michel is only a half hour drive (depending on traffic) and certainly worth seeing. We would advise though that you get there early - it gets really busy even in the winter. As a follow-up to a visit there, the Scriptorial in Avranches houses some of the magnificent illuminated manuscripts from the Mont St Michel with short films of how they are restored. The Normandy landing beaches and museums are fascinating and are approximately 1 hour away. There is a zoo close by, and a swimming pool in Brecey only 10 minutes away; you can go go-karting about 20 minutes away, and the beaches near Carolles are really beautiful. There are lots of leaflets and an information pack at the property with recommendations and suggestions. But please do not hesitate to ring us if you would like to know more"

"Brecey 2km, market day on Friday. Villedieu 13km, market day on Tuesday. Villedieu is famous for copper cookware and has masses of lovely shops to tempt you. Avranches 18km market day on Saturday and also has lots of lovely shopping including an enormous Carrefour supermarket"

'Villedieu-les-Poeles'
"There are a number of good restaurants in Villedieu amongst which are the St Pierre Hotel, Le Frutier Hotel, Pomme d'Or all of which are really good. Two stand out: L'Agora which is just opposite the library, small but fabulous, and Manoir de l'Acherie which is absolutely fantastic for a special occasion [although the prices are not necessarily special occasion prices]! Their tel no (00 33) 2 33 51 13 87 and they will organise a taxi for you to get back to La Sagerie - there are also very good restaurants in Avranches - particularly La Belle Epoque"
