Le Moulin à Longueil 5 Bedroom Bed and Breakfast (NS002307)

Set in picturesque countryside, we have 5 luxury en suite rooms in a Norman watermill on the banks of the River Saane. Each room is individually themed, decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Guests have their own private entrance and also have access to a well equipped 'light' catering kitchen. The gardens run alongside half a mile of private riverbank and those who wish are welcome to fish or just sit, relax and watch the ducks and other inhabitants of the river. Garden furniture and bbqs are available. We provide a comprehensive continental breakfast and an evening meal is available on request. Our guests are also welcome to use the Water's Edge sitting room during the day-time. Here, we have a small but well stocked library and comfortable leather chairs to relax and read.

The picturesque coastline and beach is just 3km away and cycles are available for hire to explore the surrounding countryside. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists. Golf and watersports are also available locally. There is a golf club just 15 minutes away at Pourville Dieppe and a sailing school at Quiberville and Veules-les-Roses.

The countryside is beautiful and the coastline provides stunning views from the chalky cliff tops. There is a choice of sandy and shingle beaches, fishing villages, marinas and small coastal towns. In a westerley direction is the town of St-Valery-en-Caux with its pretty yacht marina and bustling Friday market.

Attractions within a 2 hour drive include the Normandy Landing Beaches of WWII, Monet's Gardens at Giverney, the Bayeux Tapestry, the picturesque port of Honfleur and the cheese and cider producing regions of Calvados. On the doorstep, we have Guy de Maupassant's Chateau at Miromesnil and the Lutchens/Jeckyll house and garden at Bois des Moutiers. There is much to do, see and savour in the region. There are seaside attractions for children, gardens to visit, sports to play and some mouth-watering restaurants to visit.
