Portuguese Holiday Farmhouses
The importance of French rural life is reflected in its many and varied rural buildings, particularly farmhouses. Nowadays, many have been converted for use by holidaymakers wishing to enjoy their peaceful and picturesque setting.
There is a large selection of farmhouses to choose from and you may wish to refine the choice by French region and by activity.
Just because farmhouses are in a rural location doesn't necessarily mean that you have to travel far to visit tourist attractions, the coast or lakes. Some even have their own river or canal frontage.
