Mobile homes are firm family favourites for self catering holidays in France. Stay on-site and enjoy the leisure facilities or venture out and explore pre-historic caves, ancient Bastide towns or the spectacular coastline - Hendaye has a superb beach and spectacular cliffs whilst St Jean de Luz is a busy anchovy and tuna port. You can white water raft at A Boste and Laas, take an underground river trip at the Gouffre de Padirac or hike, bike and bird-watch in the Foret d'Iraty. On menus, you'll find foie gras, truffles, Bayonne ham, fish, pigeon, candied cherries and soft fruit. Just as well there are some GR, Grande Randonnee, hiking trails in the region too!
