Languedoc Roussillon Mountain biking Holidays

The Languedoc is a playground for those of you who like to combine your holiday with mountain biking. There are 10 VTT parks and trails, through forests, over hills and mountains and around vineyards, at least 100km of signposted and maintained routes, graded from green (beginners) to black (serious mountain bikers). For keen mountain bikers, the 40km tour that circles the foothills of the Pic St Loup mountain is tricky but the views are well worth the effort. Another interesting route is the Stevenson trail, named after Robert Louis Stevenson's book about his travels from Haute Loire to St Jean de Gard, now a popular footpath along the GR70 which is suitable for mountain bikes.
