How to Advertise your Holiday Property: Preparing your Advert

Preparing your Advert

Your next step is to prepare your advert. In order to make your property more appealing:

  • Think about your target customers – you need to write for them
  • Describe the area and highlight things to see and do – both on and off-site
  • What things are there appealing for families (beaches, zoos and theme parks)?
  • What things would appeal to couples (wine-tasting, golf, gourmet dining)?

To enter your advert online, you will need to have ready:

  • Full details of your property
  • The distance from the nearest main town
  • 7 images of your property - 1 main image plus 6 additional ones
  • Your rental prices
  • If applicable, tva or siret number

A Note about Images

Attractive, bright and clear images of your property do the selling for you! Tips for your web or your brochure advert:

  • Take your image on a bright day and from an attractive angle.
  • Our advert layout lends itself to landscape images – sorry, we don't accept portrait pictures
  • Include the swimming pool if you have one and arrange garden furniture attractively
  • Include a selection of internal images to reassure prospective guests
  • If there are people in any of the images, we require their written consent to use the image. Parental consent is needed for images of children.
  • Images must be supplied in JPG format
  • The main web image needs to be at least 1000 x 667 pixels
  • The additional web images must be at least 300 x 300 pixels
