Stunning farm house set in a beautiful landscape surrounded by vine yards. Kim the owner was very accommodating. The pool was amazing to dip in especially in the very hot weather we had. The house had everything we needed although maybe an air conditioning unit may be useful in the summer heat? Lovely welcome gifts left for us and the games room was used by our two boys. We visited the local villages, the dordogne river and also some local markets which were really lovely to stroll around. I would recommend this property as it really is beautful.
A delightful property. Because of poor reception the owners have removed Sky so there is currently no live TV. There is however a DVD player and good internet.
Thank you John for your review and your feedback.
I must apologise for the lack of TV channels. The problem caught me by surprise just before your arrival. Based on your feedback I have updated our advert inline with the current condition so thank you for bringing that to my attention. I am also in the process of getting it fixed.
It was lovely to meet you both and we're so glad you enjoyed your stay.
Kim and Graeme.
I would recommend this beautiful property to absolutely anyone. The owners provide excellent communication throughout leaving no questions to be asked. There are three properties in total but all remain very private. There is a shared games room which is invaluable if you have children, a great bonus. The property is decorated to a high standard and immaculately clean. The owners live in the U.K. so have a contact in France that is always on hand if you need her. The local town is quite small but has everything you need. It is directly on the Dordogne so great location for canoeing etc. We certainly will remember this holiday for a long time.
this is the second year that we have stayed here, once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it is still one of the best properties that we have been to, well looked after by the service manager on behalf of the owners and i would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family.
we visited the jardins de sardy , the romaine - gallo ruins at montcaret, the saturday market at ste foy le grande , chateau montbazillac for some wine tasting, bergerac, and had lunch at a local restaurant in saussinac le lion d'or all wonderful! my husband and daughter cycled almost everyday enjoying the beautiful countryside but most of all we enjoyed the pool and garden. we would love to return again.
