Having enjoyed many wonderful holiday homes, Le Chardon is the best equipped holiday rental we have ever stayed at. There was literally nothing we could think of that was not supplied, including a very nice welcome pack.
The view from the house was stunning, the swimming pool was outstanding, (between 26c and 29c depending on the heat of the day), the location was private, peaceful and within easy reach of a number of supermarkets. There were also numerous places of interest within a 60 minute drive.
Great value - highly recommended!
Le Chardon was the perfect holiday home for our two week summer break and I would recommend it to others looking in the area.
The owners were extremely helpful in the run up to our stay providing lots of information.
The house itself was very spacious and extremely well equipped. Set into a hill the house offered fantastic views and the pool was the perfect size (and temperature!)
The nearest intermarche was a 5 minute drive away and there was a Boulangerie that you could walk to in ten minutes.
Whilst there we enjoyed two trips to St Emilion, canoeing on the Dordogne, a drive (quite a long one) to Sarlat - an absolute MUST!
A great base for a family holiday.
