Lovely House With Stunning Views, Pool And Air Con. This villa is in a rural setting.

Les Hortensias is a spacious, superbly equipped, detached house with under-floor heating and air conditioning and is beautifully furnished inside.
The house has 4 bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 twins) , 3 bathrooms plus separate wc. The kitchen is superbly equipped with Bosch washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher. The sitting room and dining room enjoy panoramic views and have a wood-burning stove and satellite tv with many English channels.
Outside, the south-facing terrace has a pergola - wonderful for eating outside - and the grounds have been landscaped to include the private swimming pool (10mx5m) and extensive sun terraces.
Upstairs one large double bedroom with private dressing area shares a shower room and separate wc with a twin bedroom. Both these rooms have air-conditioning. Downstairs there is one large double bedroom and one twin bedroom - each with their own en-suite bath or shower room.
Linen is included in the price. We regret no pets.

Why this location? We built the house here because we couldn't find a more beautiful view.
Unique benefits of property Being relatively new it benefits from air conditioning, under floor heating, a great kitchen and lots of bathrooms - so ideal as a holiday home. But it's also in a wonderful location which means it is quiet and peaceful and we've designed the house, terraces and private pool to make the most of stunning views and fabulous sunsets.

Our favourite places to visit

The old village of Vanxains, with its boulangerie and post office nestles in the valley below and is only a short drive away - you can also cycle or walk to it. Riberac, a bustling town is five miles away. It has all kinds of shops, hypermarkets, restaurants and other facilities such as canoeing and horse riding. The famous Friday market at Riberac is a must for visitors and is as much a social occasion as a shopping opportunity. Aubeterre, a very old and very beautiful village is only 15 minutes drive away - the nearest golf course is also located near here. There are lots of other lovely places to explore. Brantome, Bergerac, Perigueux and St Emilion are all less than an hour's drive and are brilliant for sightseeing (and wine tasting!). For familes Lac Jemaye with its lakeside setting, great man-made beach, kayaks and beach bars is very popular.
