About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Renata Willett Barnes

We moved to France from the San Francisco bay area in 2004 with our 2 daughters. We enjoy the countryside, walking, and reading. We love to watch movies so our 500+ dvd collection is available to guests. We enjoy meeting new guests and having a glass of wine and telling tales and hearing about how other people live.

Year property purchased 2003
Why this location? The Dordogne Region is one of the most beautiful area's in France. We love it here. It is so quiet, safe, and clean. Food is fresh from the farm, and we enjoy the peacefulness. We love history, and there is so much here to see! It really is stepping back in time!
Unique benefits of property We live onsite. We love to help our guests feel at home here and want them to consider it their home in France. No request is too small. If you want help planning day trips to just chatting, we are here. Our location makes us special because we are away from all the crowded touristy areas of the Dordogne, but we are close enough to go visit them, and then come back to relax. We also have enough countryside around us to feel away, but we are walking distance to supermarket and restaurants etc... Most of the reviews written by former guests say this same thing, this is your home away from home!
