Aubeterre about 8 kilometres from Tourette is beautiful. Ther is a garden centre and cafes and a world heritage underground church carved out of sandstone. Also canooing and watersports there and also at the Grand Etang de la Jemaye about 15 km. from Tourette. Interesting old churches all around with great accoustics.
Very interesting weekly market at Riberac on Friday mornings. Cafe des Collones in the Riberac Square is good and Siorac de Riberac with Restaurant is worth a visit.
