Just had a fantastic week at Le Payret. A stunning property in an idyllic setting. So peaceful and yet within easy reach of all amenities. The house and garden are superb and family members young and old had a wonderful time. The garden and pool were well used and offered welcome shade from the very warm weather!! We all loved our stay and look forward to staying there again in the future.
It was so lovely to have George and family stay with us at Le Peyrat and see them enjoy the house together. Look forward to seeing them all again in the future
Just returned with our extended family from a two week stay at Le Peyrat, please beam us all back there right now, we all loved it. We had a family group ranging from 88 to 6 months and it was just perfect for us all. The villa is large, very clean , well equipped providing cots, highchairs, stairgates, potty, toilet seat and a great array of toys, books, games, inside and out . The garden is lovely safe and secure, plenty of seated shady areas, treehouse, swings, sandpit and even a petanque court. the swimming pool was a massive hit, large enough for adults and ideal for younger swimmers with a shallower end, it was thoroughly cleaned everyday and had a great amount of sunbeds and a shaded area surrounding it. Tracy and Brian are fantastic hosts, very welcoming, nothing appears too much trouble for them but at the same time completely unobtrusive, we was grateful for their help and advice. A visit to their Pony & Donkey was a must everyday. We booked Dimitri for an evening meal, and would thoroughly recommend it, so nice for us all to have an evening meal all together( little ones tucked up in bed) without lifting a finger. The meal was absolutely delicious, and for the quality of the food very reasonable, wish we could have had him every night. Would recommend a visit or two to Lac du Gurson less than 10 minute drive away, clean, safe beached lake, also St Emillion, stunning ! the local fete's are good fun, and of course the numerous vineyards and not forgetting Bergerac !,
