A very comfortable gite in a lively village. Lovely squashy sofa. Immense fridge freezer, lovely kitchen. Huge dining table. Fixtures and fittings very good. Masses of hot water and a good big shower cubicle. Owner very helpful with getting wifi up and running. Oven (burners) a bit slow for those used to gas, but we didn't starve! Quibbles for the older/heavier/less mobile: the usual fragile French toilets and cisterns which I am terrified to use in case they break (past experience!). Spiral (ish) staircase (wooden treads). Bedrooms fine, though the master is on the 3rd floor. No real outdoor space for lounging in the sun, just tables and chairs on gravel and/or a flat roof. Be warned - the village is full of Brits, so if you want a holiday among French locals, this is not for you.
Lovely house just outside the centre of Eymet. Large 4 bed house, well furnished decorated to a nice standard. Plenty of space, excellent wi-fi signal, plenty of utensils and lovely welcoming basket. Parking nice and easy outside front of house. People of Eymet extremely friendly and welcoming.
