About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Linda Austin

Ken and Linda bought Les Lavandes in 1996 and since then have set about systematically improving the property, accommodation and facilities. A while ago we turned a storage area into our one bedroom apartment, La Vigne, which gave us another letting property exclusively for couples. We like to think that we have got the mix right here as many of our visitors come back year after year. We have met some amazing people and have made lasting friendships.

Year property purchased 1996
Why this location? We are in the centre of the Golden Triangle of Perigueux, Bergerac and Sarlat, close to the river and everything this beautiful region has to offer.
Unique benefits of property We are one kilometer from the main road giving a safe environment for children. All of our properties face in different directions and are not overlooked by their neighbors.

The Owner Recommends

Le Bournat ~ Le Bugue

Le Bournat is a theme-village showing life as it was in rural France around about the year of 1900. Each building has been equipped with authentic tools, machines and furniture of the era and as you walk round you can visit wood carvers, potters, basket weavers, knife sharpeners, clog-makers and lots more.

To make it even more interesting each of these has people carrying out these trades using the tools of 1900. It is fascinating to see.
