Beautiful 3 Bedroom Villa With Private Pool. This villa is in a rural setting.

Private salt water pool, terrace with al-fresco dining area and bbq, and a very large, enclosed private garden laid to lawn surrounds the property - ideal for ball games! On-drive parking.

Inside you will find all the comforts of home. The villa has Sky/Digital tv/dvd/cd player, wi-fi, i-pod dock/charger, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, clothes dryer, kettle, toaster, iron, hair dryer and a beer and wine fridge!

Dining seating for 8, lounge seating for 5, sleeps maximum of 5.
1 x double bed, 3 x single beds.
1 bathroom with separate wc.

Linen and towels provided. Fans in lounge and bedrooms to keep you cool. Central heating and log fireplace for cooler days and romantic nights.



Kitchen and dining

Fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need to prepare your meals or have a bbq on the terrace with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, (washing machine, clothes dryer and a beer and wine fridge in the garage), kettle, toaster, iron.

Lounge dining seating for 8, Lounge seating for 5 and electric radiators. Floor-standing fan.

Living rooms

Living room has 2 x 2 seater sofas and a chair with tv, coffee table and log fire with electric radiators and a fan for those hot, sultry nights.


1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedded room and a 3rd bedroom with a single bed. The double room is furnished with fitted wardrobes and bedside tables and lamps, electric radiator, fan for hotter evenings and a lazy chair.
The twin room also has fitted wardrobes and a bedside table and lamp, electric radiator and floor standing fan, the 3rd bedroom has a single bed, bedside table, lamp, table top fan and electric radiator and houses the wi-fi, computer and printer.


The bathroom has a full bath with over bath shower and curtain and window to let in the natural daylight. The vanity unit houses the sink and full mirrors with plenty of storage behind and underneath. We also leave a selection of toiletries in the villa for your convenience for those who have a limited weight allowance on their flights!

The wc is separate.


Full electric central heating and a log fire for those cooler nights out of season or a bit of romantic ambience.


We have a selection of music cds and film/programme dvds, along with a cupboard full of games and jigsaws to keep you occupied.
There is also a selection of pool inflatables and garden toys in the small shed at the bottom of the garden.

Garden and outside

Private salt water pool, terrace with al-fresco dining area and bbq, and a very large, enclosed private garden laid to lawn with flowers, flowering shrubs and hedges surrounds the property - ideal for ball games! On-drive parking.

The pool area is in the sun all day.
Seating at the al-fresco dining and bbq area is provided with covers and a retractable canopy for shade should you need it.

Pool towels are also provided for your convenience.

Sun loungers have covers for your comfort.

Parking and garages

We have ample on-drive parking with gates for complete enclosure and there is a garage attached to the villa which holds the washing machine, dryer and beer and wine fridge! There is a small shed at the bottom of the garden for children to play in and to store all the pool inflatables.

Visitor suitability

This is a no smoking property and we can take pets from time to time so please ask.
The villa is not suitable for people with mobility problems, however as the villa is on one level we can accommodate you if you are able to step into a bath for a shower.

Information about any additional facilities

As the villa is in a semi rural location, on a long cul-de-sac, there is a forest surrounding the nearby area and a pleasant walk can be had along the pathways that run through it. These can be accessed by walking to the end of the road.

Since we purchased our property we have successfully rented every summer - and sometimes winter too. We regularly check the villa to make sure everything is in perfect working order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have people nearby to help you if required or in an emergency.

Why this location? We chose Dordogne after arriving at Bergerac airport to go house hunting and were amazed to see all the fields of sunflowers in full bloom from July - September. As a lot of English speakers have settled here it's easier to be understood if your French isn't perfect (whose is?). The younger generation have now grown up and the English they learned in school is making them eager to try it out on visitors to the area, which is a great help. The area has lots of historical places to visit including the Lascaux caves, chateaux, wine cellars and vineyards, along with local sporting activities golf, fishing, cycling, pony trekking or walking - you can do as much as you like or as little as you want.
Unique benefits of property Situated on a quiet road, peace and privacy is offered at our comfortable villa set in the Dordogne countryside of the Perigord Blanc. We have a private salt water pool with a spacious garden suitable for al-fresco dining with a bbq area. The villa is within walking distance of the village of Gravelle, which has a bakery, butcher and a cafe bar. Supermarkets and ATM's are in Chancelade (5km) and St Astier (7km) but most shops will take cards. Wild deer, falcons and eagles have been seen in the surrounding woodlands and meadows. Lots of birds visit the garden which is planted with flowers, flowering shrubs and hedging for your complete privacy. Things to see and do

Perigueux is the proud owner of the largest cathedral in south western France.
The Romanesque Cathedrale St-Front was only completed in the 19th Century when the architect Paul Abadie oversaw the restoration of the building.
Around the cathedral you will find a number of winding lanes from the 15th and 16th Centuries. Follow them down to the pedestrianised Rue Limogeanne and you will find where the locals have been doing most of their shopping since the Middle Ages.
Today it is still a major market town on Wednesdays and Saturdays when people come from all over the region to display their goods and browse for the latest bargains.
The local specialties are truffles, fois gras and pies.

Annesse et Beaulieu area
The village of Gravelle is located in the heart of the scenic Dordogne region, only 10 km from Perigueux.
Nearby is the delightful medieval town of Brantome where you will find the ancient abbey founded by Charlemagne (742-814) reflected in the river with grassy banks on one side with restaurants overlooking the scene from the other, this town is a lovely place to spend the day. Take a boat ride through the town in the morning and after lunch you can shop for bargains and gifts through the towns little lanes.

With its soaring campanile this is one of the most elegant medieval and Renaissance buildings in the Dordogne, complete with caves used by the monks as kitchens and cellars.

We provide a full information pack when you book and a copy of this is kept at the house along with tourist information of useful things to do, see and where to eat. We also ask our guests to leave information about their local treasures so we can pass it on for other guests to explore.

We stayed at Les Fieux during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. The pool and the electric fans were extremely welcome. The owners were very helpful and the organisation of information excellent. We had a slight plumbing problem which was fixed very quickly allowing us to continue our holiday in peace. The property is very clean with everything you need including UK Sky TV! The house is in a residential area but the garden is not at all overlooked. We were a little conscious of our noise disturbing the neighbours (but there were no complaints!) The pool (which has an alarm) is a good size and salt water which is so much nicer for everyone’s skin. There is a huge supermarket in a shopping centre nearby and we would recommend a large delicatessen we found near that and several local markets with fresh local produce. We didn’t eat out much but there is good information on places to eat in the house info pack. We had a lovely stay here and may well be back as we want to see more of the area. Highly recommended.

Paula is very helpful anything you need to know she gets straight back to you. The villa is in a very tranquil little hamlet and is very private not over looked by anyone. The pool is wonderful lovely and refreshing on a hot sunny day to cool off in well used I have to say. Not to far from the supermarkets. Lots of information at the villa for days out. A total chill out holiday and would definitely stay again

We've two young boys (10/11) and look for a quiet, restful 2 weeks in warm weather. With other holidays full of activities, this summer holiday is about lazing and relaxing.
Les Fieux ticks all the boxes for us, and we've liked it that much we've stayed there (for 2 weeks in August) for the past four years.
The villa is very accessible, sits in a quiet residential area, and is within a few miles of a huge Auchan hypermarket. It has a nice feel to it. It's clean, light and airy, well proportioned, and benefits from those few extra home comforts like UK TV and and some decent wifi. Washing machine and additional fridge capacity is in the garage, which is handy for storing the roof box. Big garden, not overlooked. Pool is unheated, but is a nice size, well maintained, and a welcome cool-down when the weather is hot.
The owner is great. Very efficient and friendly, and responds to emails/deals with any issues very quickly.

Les Fieux is peacefully located in a little village, private garden with great salt water pool. Accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need, so comfortable and homely and beautifully clean and fresh. Lots of beautiful places to visit, canoeing is great fun in Brantome, a local village. Great supermarkets within 20min drive.
Owner is English and is exceptionally helpful and very prompt replying to emails. We'll definitely be going back!
