Welcome to our beautifully restored farmhouse. We are delighted to be re-launching the letting of our two bed-roomed cottage in 2018 following a new roof, stylish new bathroom and redecoration throughout. The property offers a comfortable home from home experience. It has its own private pool with view over the valley, terrace area, bbq facilities and parking. It also has a fully equipped kitchen lounge/dining area, master bedroom with wc, wi-fi, UK/French tv, dvd player and dishwasher. An independent laundry room is also available for your use.
The cottage is set to the side of our family home (of 18 years) within 24 acres and has access to the outer limits of a picturesque hamlet of just 5 other classic Dordogne properties. An evening stroll here is a pure delight.
The property is surrounded by an abundance of the prettiest medieval villages (Monpazier, Belves, Cadouin, St Avit Senieur etc), numerous markets, spectacular gardens, music recitals, Chateaux, pre-historic cave paintings, water theme parks, canoeing on the river and of course wonderful restaurant etc... all within easy reach of our peaceful and harmonious property, you will effortlessly find something to excite all ages.
However, you may not be able to tear yourselves away from simply relaxing by the pool (exclusive) with a good book, glass of wine and taking in the spectacular view!
All beds are dressed with quality linen to provide you with a luxurious peaceful nights sleep.
Towels and pool towels are provided during your stay for on site use.
Why not enjoy aperitifs whilst relaxing playing the classic French game of 'Pétanque' on our own pitch or for those a little more energetic table tennis, badminton/volleyball or pool are keen favorites and are openly available to you.
Our vegetable garden provides a bounty which we take great pleasure in presenting an offering to our guests during their stay.
We shall respect your privacy and leave you to peacefully enjoy your holiday but should you need anything at all such as booking restaurants etc we are are close at hand and will be delighted to help. We are normally to be found outside maintaining the garden.

Access to the property is either via our beautiful tree lined driveway or alternatively a private access to the rear of the property passing the outer limits of the hamlet is also available.
This property offers a home from home experience with modern kitchen, appliances, china, glasses etc. The kitchen is open plan with the living room offering ample dining and seating areas for four guests. The kitchen leads directly onto a private ter rasse with bbq which overlooks the garden.

Set within acres of land but remaining private this discrete property is simply idyllic
Le Petit Reve has it's own private parking area however, you are most welcome to make use of our extensive parking area.
Access to the property is not handicap friendly.
17 years ago I moved to France with my three very young children. Soon after finding myself here a single mother with no French language skills, I decided to stay and commence transforming a property which needed totally renovating into our family home and holiday rental. In hindsight it was a pretty crazy thing to have considered i could achieve and has certainly been a labour of love. Today, no regrets just so very proud of my bilingual children who are out enjoying the world for themselves.
