Located in the grounds of a former 17th century monastery, the villas are set around two tranquil and pretty courtyards. Stylish and charming, each individual villa is decorated to a high standard, and offers you everything you need for a perfect holiday.

A stunning double aspect villa, Fuchsia boasts a secluded garden at the rear and views across the Perigordian countryside to enjoy coffee and croissants. A further garden at the front with large loggia/patio is perfect for that evening bbq.

The large open plan living area has ample space for relaxing, and at the top of the solid wood stair case you will find two spacious bedrooms and two bedrooms, one of which is en suite.

Outside we have provided sun loungers and tables and chairs for al fresco dining.

There is an underground car park to keep your car cool during summer.

The domain is situated in a fantastic location, within walking distance from Brantôme, whilst retaining peace and tranquillity with its extensive grounds and woodland.

The town of Brantôme has something for everyone. For example, historic buildings including the Abbey with the oldest bell tower in France, fine restaurants, river canoeing, shopping for local crafts and delicacies, a safe children’s play park, mini golf and art galleries.



Kitchen and dining

Kitchen is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and grill, touch control ceramic hob, coffee machine, as well as all the cooking equipment, cutlery, glass ware and serving dishes you will need.

There is a large dining table inside with 6 chairs. Also a table and chairs outside for al fresco dining.

Living rooms

The living area has two comfy leather sofas and large coffee table. Entertainment features include a 30" widescreen television (connected to UK Free View), dvd player, cd and radio plus a selection of books and games.


Bedroom 1 has a King sized bed with en suite shower room and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2 has 3 x Single Beds and beautiful high vaulted ceiling.


There are two bathrooms.

One is an ensuite to the master bedroom with shower.

The main bathroom has a bath, with a shower attachment.


Entertainment features include a 30" widescreen television (connected to UK Free View), dvd player, cd and radio plus a selection of books and games.

Garden and outside

The villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a courtyard. Both are quiet and tranquil and lovely areas to relax on the sunbeds, read books and try the local specialities such as walnut cake and wine.

There is an underground car park and each villa has its own allocated space.

I live in Sussex in the UK with my husband and 3 children. I own the property with my parents and we enjoy making use of it throughout the year.

Why this location? Brantome is a beautiful town, full of charm and character. There is so much to do in the town and around the local area that we never run out of new things to do.
We love to visit the local restaurants, and spend many happy days relaxing at the lake beaches nearby. We also love to canoe and have done the half day tour to Bourdeilles on many occasions.
Unique benefits of property Villa Fuchsia is large and spacious with a fantastic open plan living area. It has beautiful high ceilings and is light and airy.
We have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so it's perfect for families and couples.
The villa has 3 sets of doors out onto the beautiful gardens, and two patios on which to sit on the sunbeds or at the table and drink a glass of local wine!
The domaine is walking distance to Brantome.

Brantome Canoe

Canoeing is one of the highlights of the area. It is possible to do short trips around the town, or take a half or full day trip to another local town. You are then brought back by bus. There are lots of weirs on the route which make for lots of fun!

Grand Etang Saint-Estephe

The lake at Saint-Estephe is about half an hour by car north of Brantôme, and also has a white sandy beach, lovely café bars, and beautiful walkways around the lake. You can fish, go boating, play tennis, go horse riding and ride a bike trail.


Nearby Lisle, just 20 minutes from Brantôme is the summer river spot Renamon, where you can swim, picnic, hire canoes, and listen to music of live bands in the evening. To find it, go to Lisle and before entering take the road to Grand Brassac, you’ll see it signposted on the right.


You can hire bicycles in Brantôme itself for about 10€ for an entire day or at ‘A Velo’, located in St-Julien-de-Bourdeilles, about 5 minutes out of Brantôme. Go to the ‘Bar Glacier’ Saint-Sicaire.

We enjoyed a good week in Fuchsia - it had everything we needed and the welcome basket was a lovely welcome. The situation was very good with lovely walks and places to visit. Brantome with its Abby was a beautiful town.

A delightful property in an excellent location. It was tranquil and relaxing - just what we needed.

The town with free parking is a three minute drive and a 15 minute walk.

The property was clean throughout and well equipped kitchenwise with washing machine and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable as was the sitting room furniture. Outside, front and back, were tables and chairs to help us soak up the sun. The underground car park was easy to access and parking was very easy.

The welcome pack was appreciated.

We would not hesitate to recommend this property and there is a very strong chance that we will seek to return.
