La Petite Foret nestles in the Dordogne South West corner of the Perigord Pourpre, betwixt the towns of Bergerac and Perigueux both of which offer a good selection of restaurants, bars, and shops. Bergerac, famous for its wine grapes offers some of the best wines.
The local cuisine includes truffles and foie gras and is noted for its rich goose and duck dishes. Named after one of France’s longest and most beautiful rivers, the Dordogne is celebrated for its lush woodland, rolling green countryside and fertile valleys, and offers some of the best landscape scenery in France.
There are two fully equipped kitchens, one on the first floor and another in the basement that leads out to the bbq and swimming pool area.
