There is also a downstairs cloakroom and utility area. To the first floor are four well proportioned bedrooms, three with en suites (2 with wc, bath and shower and one with WC and shower). The large master bedroom has a super king size bed. The fourth bedroom is a real treat - it is accessed via the third bedroom, through a 'Narnia-like' wardrobe; there are 2 single beds and it is a magical space, ideal for young kids. Externally the property has more to offer - it has 360 degree views, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub and, for the more energetic, a table-tennis table and bikes to take a ride down to the local village. Have breakfast, lunch or supper sitting outside in the courtyard - a perfect way to enjoy al fresco dining. There is a convenience shop and a post office in Cendrieux which you can walk down to in only a few minutes. Well behaved Pets are welcome. Lots of local countryside walks.

Helen and I have travelled frequently in southern Europe but have always had a soft spot for the south of France and fell in love with the Dordogne when we first discovered the beautiful countryside, culture and french way of life a few years ago. We had been looking for a property in the South of France for a few years and, after several visits to Provence and the Dordogne, we stumbled across 'Red Shutters' and, having seen many properties up to that point, we knew immediately it was 'the one'.
