|Unique benefits of property||Each of the 3 bedrooms is en suite with shower rooms and toilets, plus a seperate toilet downstairs for any visitors! There is a beautiful view from the terrace allowing a view of the river (moreso in winter when there are no leaves on the trees) the 12th century chruch and the chateau. The pool is 5m x 5m and is a perfect size to cool off on those long hot summer days or evenings. you're also close to every amenity that you could want plus the river beach and beach bar, an acrobranching site and water slides. We bought this property a couple of years ago to renovate and that's what we did, in fact there was only one level whereas there are now 2 and we took down all the internal walls except the lovely old stone ones in the centre of the house. We wanted this to be a home for one of our children but unexpected circumstances did not allow for this so we decided to rent it out to you and let you enjoy it's wonderful surroundings and picturesque village life.|
Claudia & Roger were wonderful hosts, providing everything necessary in the cottage including a thoughtful welcome pack of wine and other essentials, plus helpful advice when asked.
The cottage was lovely, in excellent condition with lots of charm and beautiful views.
Saint Aulaye, in April, was not yet in full swing with limited eateries, but was perfect for nearby pastries and a handy supermarket, both on the doorstep.
Would definitely recommend!
