We fell in love with the French countryside and way of life many years ago and finally made the move to live here. No regrets and so far still loving it.
|Year property purchased||2016|
|Why this location?||We have visited every department of France but this was by far our favourite, it just seems very special. It has everything we could wish for, beautiful walks and cycle tracks, historic towns and Chateau's, markets galore, great restaurants and bars nearby. Peaceful but plenty to do if you want it. For us it stirs our senses. We wake up, look around us and feel very honoured to be living here.|
|Unique benefits of property||To us it's magical. It simply stirs your senses! The cottage is pretty and set within very pleasant gardens. It sits adjacent to a little 'chemin' one of the local walking routes, you can step outside and walk though tracks and woodland. The swimming pool (can be enjoyed Mid May to end of Sept) its so peaceful and private here yet only a few minutes drive to restaurants, beautiful chateau, medieval towns and river filled valleys. There is plenty to do and see around us.
