There are plenty of sunloungers with comfy cushions and parasols. A stunning oak pavilion to relax inside with your book when you want to escape the heat of the day!

Starting from Vezac, you are taken with your canoe/kayak up the famous Dordogne river to your chosen distance. Then spend the day lazily rowing back down. Take your picnic and stop off at the many beaches or snack stops while gazing at the beauty of the castles and caves all around you!
Villefranche du Perigord
We’re 1.5 km from Villefranche-de-Périgord, one of the oldest and prettiest fortified villages in the Dordogne, 12km south of Monpazier. The village has a good selection of shops, including two boulangeries, two butchers, three min-marts, cash machine, hairdressers, gift shop and tourist office.
There’s a weekly market in the square. Look out for the mushroom stalls – mushrooms and chestnuts are among the most highly prized local produce.
This medieval walled town has been the backdrop to many movies and is an outstanding example of 14th century French architecture. The many twisting and cobbled streets will inevitably lead you to a fabulous restaurant, chic boutique or magnificent spot to watch the world go by.
