Slightly off the beaten track with no passing traffic, yet just 1.5 kms from our pretty village Villefranche du Perigord which has many shops and restaurants. Warm freshly baked croissants and baguettes for breakfast and delicious cakes at lunch...

The large double bedroom with high ceilings over looks the large willow tree, has an en suite bathroom with a corner bath, sink and wc.

There is a covered terrace with delightful views of the gardens so you can eat outside no matter what the weather and a separate bbq area under a rose and honeysuckle pergola.
With many different places to sit around the grounds to choose from, either following the sun or cooling off in the shade you really wont be disappointed!
The swimming pool is for your sole use only and is totally secluded, fenced and hedged for total privacy and has wonderful views of the rolling countryside and such a great place to watch the most beautiful of sun sets and night skies! There are plenty of sunloungers with comfy cushions and parasols. A stunning oak pavilion to relax inside with your book when you want to escape the heat of the day!

Spending the day in a kayak or canoeing down the river with castles to admire on your way!
Starting from Vezac, you are taken with your canoe/kayak up the famous Dordogne river to your chosen distance. Then spend the day lazily rowing back down. Take your picnic and stop off at the many beaches or snack stops while gazing at the beauty of the castles and caves all around you!
Villefranche du Perigord
We’re 1.5 km from Villefranche-de-Périgord, one of the oldest and prettiest fortified villages in the Dordogne, 12km south of Monpazier. The village has a good selection of shops, including two boulangeries, two butchers, three min-marts, cash machine, hairdressers, gift shop and tourist office.
There’s a weekly market in the square. Look out for the mushroom stalls – mushrooms and chestnuts are among the most highly prized local produce.
This medieval walled town has been the backdrop to many movies and is an outstanding example of 14th century French architecture. The many twisting and cobbled streets will inevitably lead you to a fabulous restaurant, chic boutique or magnificent spot to watch the world go by.
Sarlat’s main square plays host to a huge market for local produce – duck and goose confits and patés, goat and bovine cheeses, breads, walnut cakes, pastries, wines, brandies and aperitifs.
A magnificent walled medieval hill top village with fantastic views over the Dordogne valley. The spectacular grotto is well worth a visit and immerse yourself in the history of the Knights Templar and their close association with the village.
