Renovated former Girl’s school of the village. Sympathetically restored, retaining many original features.
The property is spacious, light and airy with the kitchen, open living area and bathroom on the ground floor. To the first floor are the 4 large bedrooms and a further bathroom.
It’s vine fronted facade, grand pergola, pool, bbq and illuminated terrace make it a perfect outdoor space for entertaining , day or night!
The Games Hall contains more than enough items to keep everyone occupied, children and adults alike!

The space
We believe that this house is perfect for 1, 2 or even 3 families at a time as it offers a secure environment for children to play safely, with a large, well maintained garden and an above ground pool. There’s a good selection of outdoor games to choose from also. Then there’s the Games Hall inside, (should the weather turn bad!), with snooker, pool, darts, table tennis and many other small games to play.
With the hundreds of books dotted all round the house, there’ll be plenty to read while relaxing by the pool

Guest access
Our guests have full and sole access to the house, garden and gamesroom. The loft access door will be securely locked. The former ‘classroom’ to the right of the main, central house is a privately owned holiday residence that may/may not be occupied when you are there also. The long driveway belongs to L’Ancienne Ecole des Filles and our guests have full use of it, however, the owners of the former ‘classroom’ mentioned above, do have a right of access to their property if required.
There is a small fence to section off the two separate parts of each garden.

Fully fitted, modern kitchen. Large ‘island’ feature with 5 ring gas hob, washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer and double oven.

Open plan ground floor living space with 3 sofas and a 10 seater dining table.


Four large bedrooms with various combinations of double/single beds in each.


Large bathrooms on both ground and 1st floors. Each with modern showers, wc and basins etc. No bath however.


There is a good quality floor mounted fan in each of the bedrooms, plus in the living room and gamesroom also. There are also electric heaters if the temperature drops too much


Hundreds of books fitted around the house.
Huge gamesroom with many toys, games and activities including full size snooker and ping pong tables, a dart board, small golf putting green, and pool table

Garden and outside

Covered sun terrace with large pergola, table and chairs. Sunloungers also an ‘above ground ‘ pool 4m x 2m.
There is a large secluded garden with outdoor games on site.
Double sized bbq and lights around the pergola give you the perfect ‘al fresco’ space as the sun goes down

There is a large driveway which can easily accommodate 4/5 cars

Our home is welcome to everyone however there are 3 steps up to the front door and a full flight of stairs to the bedrooms on the 1st floor, so please bear this in mind.

Why this location? Miallet is perfectly situated to take advantage of all the Dordogne is famous for, and has to offer. In a great little village location, complete with everything you’d expect to find in a typical French village. Close to main road links and Limoges airport, for easy access.
Fantastic leisure lakes, beautiful countryside and a host of weekly markets to suit everyone make it ideal.
Local bike hire, fishing lakes and hundreds of dedicated cycle/walking trails means there’s plenty to do.

There are 4 large bedrooms, an open plan living/dining space, and 2 modern bathrooms.
Yes, there’s a spacious garden, extra large brick bbq, outdoor games, sun terrace and ‘above ground’ pool, for those lazy days outside, but that’s not always enough for children. That’s why we’ve created a huge, dedicated 'Gamesroom’ in the house to give kids of all ages something to, especially if the weather turns bad. It’s full with toys, games and books PLUS a professional table tennis table, a standard pool table, a dart board, and a full size slate bed snooker table. This means your children will always be kept busy, which in itself, means a more relaxing time for the parents!
