Ideally situated just 15 minutes drive from the UNESCO World Heritage Medieval town of Saint Emilion, situated on the heights of the Entre Deux Mers this lovely house is set in a beautiful woodland garden.
A bright comfortable and contemporary interior with ample space throughout.
The house was restored with care and attention to detail in 2009 and now offers very comfortable accommodation for our guests. The high quality air conditioning being a particular asset during those hot summer nights. There is an inviting swimming pool which is heated between May to September.
A lovely covered terrace on which to enjoy those alfresco meals, perhaps complimented by a bottle of the local Vin de Bordeaux!
The house is perfectly situated for exploring the area and visiting the many local attractions, fishing or kayaking on the Dordogne river, hot air ballooning, local day and night markets and countless vineyards.
The kitchen and dining area is spacious and open plan with an oak table seating 8 people. It has everything required to prepare and serve meals for up to 8 people including a 4 hob cooker, a microwave oven, large kettle, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine and coffee-maker.
Flooded with sunlight this room opens onto the south facing terrace. There is seating for 8, coffee and side tables, 4 seat table and chairs, tv, dvd, Bluetooth speaker, cd/radio along with a selection of games and books.
Two double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. All have bedside tables, lamps, dressing tables with chair and mirror plus wardrobes.
There is a bathroom on the first floor with bath and shower attachment, basin and wc. A shower room on the ground floor with basin and wc.

The HEATED pool is a short stroll through the orchard from the house. It is 10m x 5m in size and has an electric safety cover when not in use.
Surrounding the pool is a beautiful natural sandstone terrace with sunloungers, chairs and pool towels are provided, there is also a shower and wash handbasin in the pool house.
There is a table seating 6 on the covered terrace adjacent to the house along with a barbecue.

The Dordogne River is 5 minutes drive away. Canoeing and Kayaking are available on the Dordogne at Saint Antoinais a Saint Antoine du Breuillh.

Rauzan is 4 minutes drive away or a 20 minute walk through the lanes. Here you will find a bar, bank, supermarket, boulangerie/patisserie x 2, pizza restaurant, La Maison restaurant (superb), hairdresser, Post Office, chemist, butcher, fruit and veg shop and petrol station.
The Chateau de Rauzan (Castle ruin) is well worth a visit.
There is a huge Leclerc supermarket at Pineuilh 30 minutes away and a Carrefour at Libourne 20 minutes away.
Saint Emilion is a UNESCO world heritage site 15 minutes away and has to be on your list of places to visit. The wine, the history, the architecture, not to be missed.
Bordeaux is a beautiful city just 45 minutes by car. Literally shop till you drop, what a place, it is spectacular at night too.
Bergerac just 60 minutes drive offers a great retail experience.
A lovely Bastide walled town about 10 minutes drive by car. It has an impressive gateway, leading to the square with it's restaurants, supermarkets and shops.
Blaye Citadel UNESCO world heritage site. Sixty minutes drive. Castillon-la-Bataille 15 minutes. Libourne 20 minutes. Sauveterre de Guyenne 10 minutes. Saint-Foy-la Grande 35 minutes. Perigueux 75 minutes.
In Saint Jean de Blaignac the Au Berge Saint Jean is a 1 star Michelin restaurant, the dining room overlooks the River Dordogne, the food is sublime and reasonably priced for such quality, an experience awaits!!
