The swimming lake of St Christophe de Double with restaurant at Guinguette du Lac is 3 kms away with swimming, watersports and walks, and picnic areas. St Emilion world heritage village is around a half an hour drive and offers tours of the ancient village and a variety of wine tours. There are excellent bars and restaurants and many activities. The city of Bordeaux is a UNESCO site and has numerous attractions.

World heritage village only 30 mins drive, perfect for wandering through the cobbled streets, bars, restaurants, wine tours, historic visits, and varied entertainment.


Bordeaux is a UNESCO city with a variety of things to do - from cathedral tours to the Cite de Vin for a history of wine making in the region and tasting. Mirroir d'eau on the Quays before La Palais de la Bourse is beautiful and entertaining for children. Art galleries, a wide variety of restaurants, museums, and shopping. Easy to visit by train.
