Leading off the kitchen is a large and gracious dining room seating 6 people, the room has large dresser cupboards with china etc stored in here. There is a door in the dining room which leads to the communal hall of other apartments and must be kept locked.
Through double doors leads to the sitting room with frenchdoors to the garden. This room is large with a bygone grandeur and ornate fireplace. There is a tv, cd and record player.
The bathroom has a good shower and there is also a small utility area adjacent to the double bedroom. The bedroom has frenchdoors leading onto the garden, a king size bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a hanging rail. The view from the bed is lovely and includes trees, a vineyard and the river bank.
The garden is exclusive to No 68. It has a large terrace, roses, herbs and a bbq. Views of the river and of Port Ste Foy across the river.

Hello, Charles and I have spent many years in France on holiday and finally we bought our beautiful home on the River Dordogne. We spend many happy hours in the garden bird watching, sunset gazing and sipping regional wine. We hope you enjoy it too!

Why this location? My father owned a lovely house in the vineyards on the outskirts of Ste Foy, when he sold up we missed it very much and so bought our own.
Unique benefits of property It has lovely views, it is urban and rural at the same time, at the front you can be sipping coffee in the square within 5 minutes walk, at the back with river frontage it seems you are in the countryside. Inside there are no stairs to climb. Two of the rooms are grand in style with gorgeous fire places, the ceilings are tall and it is spacious. We have a cosy kitchen with a woodburner.

Ste Foy La Grande Market

Every Saturday morning there is a great well known market in Ste Foy. There is a lot of local produce and a buzz of people , traders and animals. We love to go and buy our food there and often much more besides.

Towns and Villages

We love to visit Bergerac, St Emillion, Bordeaux, Sarlat, Duras, Gensac and a village called Pessac with a gorgeous restaurant on the river.
