Andy and myself, have settled in Villeneuve de Duras this year, after travelling France for 6 years in our Motorhome, always returning to this area, so we knew it was right for us. We are both semi retired and loving every minute.
|Year property purchased||2017|
|Why this location?||Its a quiet rural location in the heart of wine country, we love to be surrounded by the vines and shops and restaurants are only 10 minutes away.|
|Unique benefits of property||Very quiet and peaceful, but not far from towns and villages with the benefit of lots of restaurants. We are right next door to a vineyard with wine tasting and vineyard tours.|
Medieval Chateaux, with Fantastic views over Duras.
Wine Tasting, Vineyard tour or walk through the Vineyards. This is right next door to our Gite.
There are Markets in and around the area everyday. During the months July and August there are night markets, which sell the local food and wine for you to eat in the market squares, with dancing and interesting market stalls. Not to be missed.
