We are situated in an area of France known for beautiful Chateaux to visit such as Chateau des Milandes, Chateau Bridoire, Chateau Monbazillac - all within driving distance. There are some great value restaurants locally as well as Michelin Starred ones if you want to pay a little extra!! There are Night Markets every weeknight in a village or town within 20 minutes drive of our house - not to be missed!!

The property is beautifully located right in the middle of the countryside and the only sounds that can be heard are from the wildlife. In this tranquil location there was a well-maintained pool, table tennis table, dartboard, petanque pitch, outdoor sofas ….. everything we needed. Tony & Caroline were very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions of where to go and keeping the pool clean and available when we needed it. This was a beautiful holiday and we enjoyed everything about it.

The property was wonderfully clean and well equipped, and the owner gave us extremely good and helpful information. There were plenty of activities to do in the area including chateaux, wine-tasting, night markets. The owner's website was also extremely informative. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and we were so impressed with the property which was a lovely family home. All the rooms were so spacious and the pool in the garden was perfect and so convenient. I would thoroughly recommend this property. Its remote location appealed to us and we appreciated the peace and quiet and wonderful views.

We all had a fabulous, restful and relaxing holiday in this beautiful, spacious property. It has the most peaceful setting with glorious views all around. The outdoor seating and dining facilities are excellent as is the pool. The owners are British and extremely friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Tony made several fantastic suggestions for events and places to see, all of which we enjoyed enormously. He recommended several restaurants, and whilst we only went to one of them (his favourite), the food and service were all you could wish for, and the outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens provided a magical setting. I particularly enjoyed picking figs and nectarines in the garden, and watching the buzzards riding the thermals over adjacent fields. This is a very eell equipped and comfortable family home that is in a different league from most holiday rental properties.
