|Why this location?||We chose Lot et Garonne for its peaceful rural scenery and its relaxed way of living. It is within reach of many historic medieval villages and markets as well as notable vineyards such as Duras, St Emilion, Bordeaux etc. Since we arrived, the Airport of Bergerac has added to the accessibility for visitors to this region. The climate here is mostly sunny and warm, and temperatures are often in the high 20's. The cottage keeps cool thanks to the thick stone walls.|
