Bill & Debby have lived in France for over 10 years. As animal lovers our family now includes 2 dogs, 3 cats and 6 chickens. All gentle and used to people.
Bill loves photography, he has had many photos displayed in local exhibitions and some have been sold.
Debby loves to spend her day in the veg garden then in the kitchen cooking. Her specialty is desserts - low calorie of course.
Upon moving to France they exchanged their love of motorcycling for tractors - not so much fun but a lot safer.

|Why this location?||The French refer to this region as the Eden of France. The green, rolling hills and gentle weather streams make it idyllic. The locals have been so welcoming and friendly we quickly became part of the community.
Come and look around - why would we want to be anywhere else ?

We spent two weeks at Biraud Bas in July 2017. The gite itself is outstanding; we used two of the three bedrooms both of which had super comfortable, enormous beds with ceiling fans in the rooms. Beautiful, big bathroom with walk in shower. Debby and Bill couldn't be better hosts and a welcome pack of bread, cheese, wine and other essentials was a great touch. The kitchen/dining area is wonderfully equipped, with high quality crockery, glassware and other equipment, and there are numerous loungers, chairs etc outside for relaxing or al fresco dining.
Due to a medical emergency partway through our holiday I had to be hospitalised, and Debby and Bill couldn't have been more helpful offering advice and going above and beyond, they were very concerned to know that we were OK.
This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of France with lots to see and do, or alternatively just relaxing by the beautiful pool. Would definitely recommend ++++.
The photos advertising this property do not do it justice - it's even better in real life. We had an amazing week - the property itself was superb, so comfortable and clean, and Debbie and Bill are lovely, they can't do enough to make guests feel at home but also respect their privacy. The perfect balance! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return one day.
We had a wonderful Easter break at Biraud Bas Gîte and the hosts did everything to make our stay exceptional. The welcome pack is fantastic and the gite has been renovated to extremely high standards. The owners have thought of everything including a stocked bar fridge with an honesty box...what an innovative idea! Thank you so much for an amazing week.
