My wife Mandy and I are semi retired and have holidayed in France most of our lives. We are fond of French food and wine and when we can afford it treat ourselves to a good meal out. We also like to keep fit so when we built our French house it was important to have a good size swimming pool and a good local area for cycling, running and other sports. The Dordogne and Lot area is a culinary treasure chest where we are still discovering little treats years after our first visit.
