Farmhouse, Privacy, Secluded And Tranquil. This villa is in a rural setting.

Bergerac Dordogne, Farmhouse, rustic, set in the South West of France in own private grounds of 7 acres and private pool. Approx 35mins South of Bergerac Airport, Bordeaux is 1h 30mins and Toulouse 2h 30mins drive away.

The property is set between the Bastide villages and wine growing areas surrounded by beautiful countryside and sunflower fields.
The rivers of the Dordogne at Bergerac and the Garonne running into Villeneuve Sur Lot are not far away.
There are a number of very interesting ancient towns and villages to explore and numerous amounts of festivals and activities are held throughout the area.
There are a number of activities for children to get involved in and keep happy!
But if all that is too of our favourite activities is just sitting by the pool, enjoying the sunshine, and eating Al Fresco!

Inside the house you have a large lounge with fabulous views over the countryside, and access to the main rear terrace. Feel free to take tables outside ‘Al fresco’ but ensure tables are back in when leaving or you are away for the day.
Set in over 7 acres of its own grounds, *with a private swimming pool and patio, and accessed by a long private driveway. Spacious farmhouse converted from two buildings originally and offering 3 double bedrooms. Two have double beds and the third has two singles. All accommodation is situated at ground floor level, and is very spacious.

The‘Bastide Towns’ circuit in the area is famous so exploring the many unspoilt towns and villages is a must do!
We enjoy fantastic views of breathtaking scenery, easy access to the towns of Bergerac and Villeneuve Sur Lot yet, we are tucked away in a most peaceful and tranquil part of the countryside.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is massive with lovely views over the gardens, countryside and fields.
It has its own large table with six chairs and is equipped with large fridge freezer, hob with electric and gas rings.
There is a separate electric double oven and slow cooker. Toaster and kettle provided. Double sink.
There is also a patio off the kitchen that can be used for outdoor dining.
Another dining table is provided for 4-6 people outside.
There is another patio in the outdoor dining area situated facing the pool at the rear of the house. This has seating for eight people with large chairs and a long outdoor wooden table. There is a barbeque provided, and this outdoor area is great for eating 'Al Fresco' in the day or the evening. Both patio areas give good shade on the hot days.
By the pool there is also a shaded bar area as well as plastic table and chairs, easy to wash, with a brolly for casual eating.

We recommend not to take any glass items near the pool please.

Living rooms

There is a very large lounge, reading area looking out to the pool and countryside beyond. This is fitted with a large woodburner at one end with large leather settees with coffee table.
A small dvd/tv is provided for watching films. No tv stations are connected, and is not included but you are welcome to use the dvd player should you need….in an area like this why would you be watching tv?
There is also an area with music, radio, cd player.
The other end has a three piece cane furniture set and coffee table. Books and bookshelf for the readers!


There are three bedrooms.
Two double bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds.
Top of the range double beds and quality single beds ensures everyone enjoys a good night’s sleep.
Cabinets and drawer space in all rooms.


There is one main bathroom.
The bathroom has a large bath with mixer tap, a single pedestal sink unit, wc and a large separate walk in shower room. There is another separate wc, separate to the bathroom which is also a washing/utility area.


Large log burner in the main lounge, some electric heaters for other rooms if required.


Radio, music, cd, and tv, dv player.

Garden and outside

Set in over 7 acres of its own grounds, with a private swimming pool and patio, and accessed by a long private driveway. Spacious farmhouse converted from two buildings. Two large terraces with patio. Large poolside changing area shaded bar area. Various outdoor sunloungers, chairs and brolley.
There are numerous outside buildings of interest including a large Tobacco barn.
All the main windows are fitted with shutters to help keep the rooms shaded and cool.

Parking and garages

Plenty of private parking with shaded areas.

Visitor suitability

All accommodation is single floor level.
This is a countryside setting and a car is necessary.
The house and patios are strictly no smoking areas.

Sleeps six easily.

Weekly rental for the Farmhouse and up to six people inclusive of linen, sheets, *swimming pool maintenance and all utilities/electricity/water paid.

*Our pool is private, and if used, is at your own risk, not monitored.
