We moved to France in 2016 to enjoy an easier pace of life, however we did want an adventure and to do something different! Also to appreciate the beautiful region we chose to move to. Andy has fully refurbished the old “piggery” and we have worked hard as a couple to produce a holiday home that we would want to stay in! We both enjoy meeting people and hope you enjoy staying in the gite we have lovingly renovated in our very own tranquil haven.

|Why this location?||Set in the country in a secluded area, with breathtaking views that stretch as far as the eye can see of vines and prune trees. Although we are in a tranquil rural location, we are within easy reach of the spectacular city of Bordeaux and also the picturesque town of Bergerac. The medieval Bastide village of Eymet is 20 mins away by car, and Duras with its beautiful chateau is 10 mins away. Both have markets all year round, however during July and August, night markets are an experience not to be missed, with gourmet food, live music and of course plenty of wine available! Local, regional food is fantastic, including, wonderful cheese, pastries, and duck dishes.
