About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Sara-Jayne Stringer

Having lived and worked hard in a busy metropolis for too many years to think about, we decided to move to France. The idea was to run high quality rentals thus giving us time to explore surrounding villages on our Harley Davidsons. Lake fishing (both on-site and on surrounding lakes) for Geoff gives Sara some time off! We also enjoy golf on local courses. Sara enjoys cooking so there is often a smell of the current days gastronomy emanating from the main house.

Why this location? If you fancy peace and quiet in a rural location but with easy access to main shopping towns and the vineyards of the Dordogne - then this is the place for you.
The summer months bring the traditional "marché nocturne" in most villages with local artisans and musicians showing their trades from 7pm to late. Your opportunity to sample fine French food and unlimited choices of wine - can you resist the temptation of escargots, confit de canard or moules et frites?
Superbly situated for touring both the Dordogne and the Bastide towns of the beautiful Lot et Garonne countryside, Liguand is only a half hour drive from Bergerac International Airport. With easy access to Bordeaux International Airport, the drive through the vineyards and countryside will have you totally relaxed for the start of your holiday.
With only two cottages on the site, the pool is the perfect place to relax.
Unique benefits of property Set in 2.5 hectares Liguand is just 1km from the village of Saint Quentin du Dropt with the nearby Bastide towns of Castillonnes and Issigeac just a 5 minute drive away.
Liguand offers:
Your own private unit with terrace;
On-site fishing pond - where the elusive Colin awaits capture;
On-site swimming pool - perfect for catching the rays or star gazing;
Direct access to one of the many walking routes in the area;
The opportunity to see various wild animals and birds - we have a resident falcon who has chicks in the barn every year.
