Made up of 3 gites which sleep up to 4 or 5 in each, they are Ideal for group family/friend holidays seeking individual accommodation. Toulambic offers a quiet setting but is just 200m from the village where you can stroll to get your fresh bread and croissants in the morning.
In the village you'll find 2 boulangeries, an organic butcher's/grocers, a post office, a pizzeria/restaurant, 2 excellent créperies, a hairdressers and dentist. There are also 2 local English speaking doctors and a very big pharmacy.

Just a 2min drive away is the town of Fouesnant which offers all amenities shops, bars, beach view cafés, supermarkets, popular refined restaurants and traditional créperies.
There are plenty of cultural visits in the area. You shouldn't miss... Quimper, Concarneau and Locronan beautiful historical towns, fishing ports, not to mention the peninsulas of Point du Raz and Crozen.

Nice garden with an area where the children can meet and play together
Pleasant comfortable property keeping the rustic character and being in a good location for shops, beaches and activities. This property is suitable for families and couples alike
I moved out to Brittany with my husband in 1988. We bought Toulambic with the intention of doing B & B and painting holidays as my husband was an artist. We had to rent a gîte whilst doing the renovations and hence the idea to do gîtes occured. I've been running the gîtes ever since and it's nice to meet guests who appreciate Brittany and it's beautiful scenery and tranquility.
|Year property purchased||1988|
|Why this location?||Well located near village with a few local amenitities and beaches within 6km. Towns such as Benodet, Quimper and Concarneau all within reach.|
|Unique benefits of property||Authentic traditonal gîtes keeping the rustic decor with modern appliances for holiday accomodation with a difference taking you back in time.|
There are numerous beaches ranging from the quiet secluded coves of Beg Meil to larger sandy beaches such as Benodet, Mousterlin and Cap Coz.
If or when the children have had enough of the beach there is still plenty to keep them occupied with play parks, swimming pools, pony riding and not forgetting tennis and golf all in easy reach.
In every town and village you can find a creperie. It's a must to try.
In the evenings stroll around one of the many fetes, even have a meal and join in the local Breton dancing at their Fest Noz.
There is a market every morning in the vicinity but the biggest and most popular by French standards are at Pont l'Abbe on Thursday and Concarneau on Monday mornings
This is the ideal area to do both of these with the coastal paths, and exploring the country lanes to find the hidden Brittany.
All sorts of watersports are possible even with sailing schools. Surfing at Pointe de la Torche, canoeing up the River Odet are just 2 ideas.
Have a great week in the Farmhouse and enjoyed everything.
Susan was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, with lots of local knowledge advise.
Set in a lovely part of this world.
Always a pleasure to meet new guests and help them to enjoy the region and accomadation.
We stayed for 10 days in September.
1 1/2 hrs from Roscoff and situated within 10km of Benodett, Quimper and Concarnou which are all worth a visit.
Speak to Sue and she will use her local knowledge to direct you to some other less known gems of small stunning bays that are well worth seeing. We only had to pay for parking in Concarnou and Quimper and the it was less than 2 Euros.
The 3 gites are in a quiet village that has a couple of bakeries and a butchers and there is a large supermarket less than 10 mins drive away that stocks all your needs, a petrol station on site. More a small hypermaket than supermarket selling white goods, clothes and furniture as well as great Breton food and wine at 2 to 6 Euros a bottle
The gites are in lovely grounds and well furnished and have cooker, fridge, microwave and a barbecue in each. Plenty room for children to run around away from the traffic
We have been coming to the farmhouse for 12 years now and our girls have enjoyed every visit. Plenty to do in the surrounding area whether you want beach or countryside. Farmhouse cosy with all amenities set is lovely village setting with local shops on your doorstep and hypermarket just a mile away for 'big shop'. Lots of walking and cycling and Quimper and Concarneau nearby for shopping and markets. For older children the surf beach at La Torche is a must and there are plenty of watersports at Cap Coz beach to keep them occupied and for young children the beach there is safe and there are toilets cafes and parking in the shade.
Lovely family and I look forward to their visits every year.
