We moved here in 2005, after living abroad for a number of years. We fell in love with the Presqu'ile and especially the magic of Le Rhun. We love the peace, the space, and the big open skies here. We wanted to share the magic of our quirky and homely gites, and are always creating new places for children and grown ups of all ages to explore and play.

|Why this location?||Once you have visited the Peninsula d'Crozon you will understand.|
|Unique benefits of property||Peace, tranquillity, a splash of magic, the fairy glade and a pirate ship!|
Argol village is a 15 minute walk away and boasts a boulangerie, La Poste, 2 small bars, a tabac and creperie as well as a museum of country crafts!
Telgruc-sur-mer is 5 kilometres away and also has a bank, small supermarket, general store and road drops down onto a magnificent sandy beach.
Crozon - a picturesque town with a beautiful market square, supermarkets, artisan bakers and boucherie/charcuterie. On alternate Wednesdays there is a morning market snaking from the square, through the narrow streets, selling hand made crafts, local fresh food, cheeses, seafood and Brittany hot food delicacies.
Morgat - a small seaside town that makes us think of Balamory with its brightly coloured buildings hugging the coastline and many yachts moored in the harbour. The beach and harbour offer you the chance to hire kayaks, bikes, go diving, go on boat trips into the caves or soak up the sun at one of the many small creperies and bars along the sea front. For six weeks at the height of summer the streets come alive as the sun sets with 'Mardi Morgat' - a Tuesday night street festival of live bands strolling along the sea front and performing on the stage in the square, with families and friends dancing in the street into the early hours or perusing the unusual gifts at the craft market!
Camaret - A harbour town with numerous waterside restaurants with great fresh fish and seafood. A firm favourite for surfers as it is surrounded by surfing beaches and beautiful clifftop walks.
Locronan - One of France's best kept villages with higgledy-piggledy houses, cobbled streets, beautiful creperies, quirky shops, atmospheric church, and our personal favourite - a magnificent hand made chocolate shop.
Quimper - Fascinating medieval city with beautiful church, art gallery, market hall, timbered buildings, amazing merry-go-round and interesting little shops including one selling delicious, elfin the mouth macaroons in 24 flavours presented to you in exquisitely wrapped boxes.
There are 10+ beaches on the presquile, most within 20 minutes drive. The closest (and our favourite) is Trez Bellec in Telgruc-Sur-Mer, 5km away (5 minutes in the car). There are lots of places to hire Kayaks, catamarans, sand karts, to name but a few of the activities. But best of all there are many wide open, uncrowded, sandy beaches to choose from.
There is a wealth of things to do on the Presqu-ile de Crozon. From walking, cycling, surfing, sailing, museums, national parkland, a maze, Parc Accrobranche (tree climbing and paintballing) beautiful local markets, La Maison du Cidre, La Musée Vivants des Vieux Métiers, Le Musée du Mémorial de la Bataille de l'Atlantique, a number of sites of historic interest including the standing stones at Camert-Sur-Mer. Something to please everyone...
A perspective setting for adults and children. We had everything we needed and felt relaxed and content all week. The pool was clean, safe and warm; the house had comfortable beds, a great kitchen and lots of space; the hosts were helpful, friendly and discreet; the area was full of this going on and lovely beaches!
Just returned from the fabulous Le Rhun. We had a wonderful two weeks - We had one week with extended family and then a second week with just the four of us and both of the gites we stayed in were set up to the highest standard with everything you can think of to ensure the kids (and adults) were well catered for. The grounds are amazing for kids with a fairy glade, dens and games/toys to keep them entertained for hours! It felt very safe for them to run free! The pool is great and the kids were never bored. Lesley and Alan were great hosts and we would thoroughly recommend LeRhun
Fantastic holiday, a large family group with many children aged 0-4. So much for us to explore just on the site we didn't really need to leave! Fortunately we did though and discovered gorgeous beaches very near by and some lovely eateries. Leslie and her team made our stay very special with the addition of a pirate party and treasure hunt for one of the parties birthdays. All together a memorable fun holiday!
