The Crozon Peninsula is a narrow piece of land with the Brest Estuary to the north and the Bay of Douarnenez to the south. The beaches, estuary, and ports are beautiful and unspoilt. The coastal walking is stunning, there are varied beaches catering for surfing, windsurfing, sand yachting, fishing, diving, canoeing, or family beaching. The amazing sea world park of OCEANOPOLIS only an hour away at Brest.
The nearest port is Roscoff and is just over 1 hours drive away. St Malo is approximately 2 hours away by car. There is a good local airport at Brest with several hire car operators
The house is in the market square and so there are several good restaurants close by. The port of Morgat is 5 minutes by car and has plenty of good seafood restaurants as does the port of Cameret-sur-Mer which is 6 miles away. The famous French chef Olivier Bellin has a restaurant in the village of Plomodien about 15 miles from Crozon.
Another amazing week spent out in this house. Been here several times before, and never get bored of exploring the little market town and local area. This house has everything needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. There are plenty of things to do, and the beaches are all lovely. Both my two young children love visiting here, and always ask when we can go back!
Thanks again Nigel, for providing a great house to enjoy another sunny holiday.
Thank you Ed for your kind comment- you are always welcome,
This property is tucked in behind the main street of the busy town of Crozon opposite the beautiful church square. It is very quiet, apart from delightful church bells from 7am. It is quite small but has everything you need. The owner and agent were very helpful indeed. The outdoor space is limited to the bench in the alleyway outside the front door. Beds were comfy. Shower functional. Kitchen has all you need and dining table and lounge all in the same space. Lighting could be improved, bit dim to read a book. Very good value for money and great location as Crozon is a very bustling town with a daily market, interesting shops and some restaurants. A short drive from Morgat which is a seaside resort with lots of restaurants and an extensive beach. Coast path absolutely marvellous with breathtaking views and lovely beaches in abundance all around the peninsula. Thank you Nigel!
Thank you for you kind comments Josie, great guests
We have just come back from a 2 week stay in the beautiful location of Crozon. The house itself was everything you could wish for and more, fully equipped, clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location. Walking out the big brown door on a morning into the hustle and bustle of the town was amazing! The daily market is not to be missed and we were able to be part of the market that covers Crozon town! The beaches were glorious, plage de l'aber was out favourite, we managed many good days on the beach! On the not so good days we visited Quimper and Brest, cities not to be missed! We loved Morgat and often went there on an evening for a walk along the harbour and an ice cream!
Nigel was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. We have a very informative booklet that told us all we needed before we got there, this was great because finding the house was no problem as it all felt familiar by the time we got there!
As a family with an 8 year old this destination was perfect and we had a very relaxed 2 weeks! There is nothing we could fault! We would recommended to anyone of any age!
Thank you Nigel
Thank you for your lovely comments, nothing could please me more than to hear that families staying at my house have a great holiday. You were perfect guests and are always welcome. Best wishes Nigel
We had a really enjoyable stay in Crozon. It's quiet but central and a great base for exploring the area. There was plenty of room for three adults and a teenager and a well-stocked kitchen. There are many sandy beaches and great coastal paths close by and Crozon - although quite small- has a good atmosphere. There are better restaurants in Morgat and Camaret so we ate there or bought food from the local shops and ate in. The information and directions were excellent and we found everything we needed. The only small negative things were that the beds are rather hard and there is no outside area/garden or wifi (although it is available at the nearby cafe). We would certainly recommend staying here and feel it is good value.
Thanks you for the good comments, and thank you for being such great guests
