The cottage is in a tranquil rural location. There is one neighbouring house whose friendly English owners act as caretakers to the cottage. The only passing traffic is the yellow “poste” van each morning.
I live in Devon, with my husband Stuart, where we farm. We have two children, and although our younger child is now about to start university, both he and his sister still enjoy holidaying with us at Ty ar Rozenn, and bringing their friends too.

|Why this location?||We were looking to purchase a cottage in southern Brittany, but we found Ty ar Rozenn on our way south and fell in love with both the cottage and the area. It is a very interesting and characterful part of Brittany, and the cottage has access to the beautiful River Aulne, which forms part of the Nantes-Brest Canal. We are just 5km from the attractive market town of Chateauneuf du Faou which offers a variety of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. It is an ideal base for exploring the many interesting local towns and beauty spots, as well as the sandy beaches of west Finisterre, and both the north and south coasts are within an easy drive.|
|Unique benefits of property||Ty ar Rozenn is our own home away from home, and has been equipped as such. It is a tranquil location, ideal for unwinding. The wide towpath of the Nantes-Brest canal offers delightful walks and is rich in wildlife: we also have a selection a bicycles that guests may borrow if they wish to enjoy the scenery on two wheels.|

This cottage is absolutely lovely - our second time visiting. The cottage has everything you could ever need and an idyllic setting if you want to get away from it all. Peaceful setting, lovely countryside and the wonderful canal only a few yards from the cottage. Highly recommended - we will be returning again!

Thank you for taking the time to review our property; we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay.
We found the cottage to be very well equipped in a great location, with great walks along the canal. The area had lots to do and Chateauneuf - Du- Faou has a good selection of shops and restaurant. The cottage itself has everything you need and if you arrive with all of your provisions, really no need to go anywhere. We used the barbie during the day and lit the log fire in the evening as we were there early May, and found Ty ar Rozenn very cosy. Well worth the visit and will return.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our cottage and look forward welcoming you back.
