About this property

Beautiful House with Superb Views of the Sea. This villa is in a coastal setting.

Our beautiful detached traditional French house is in the historic and pretty village of Landevennec which is on the waters edge.    The house has a large lawned garden, is spacious and very sunny with south facing rooms all overlooking the sea. It is just a short walk to the pretty village, with lots of boating from the quayside and is famous for its ancient Abbey and museum.
The house has a huge lounge with dining area and a modern kitchen with a further dining area with double doors leading to a large decking with dining furniture and loungers. The house sleeps 8 people comfortably with 2 large double bedrooms one with king sized bed the other with standard double, and 2 large twin rooms.
It is in an elevated position overlooking the beautiful tidal estuary of the Rade of Brest and surrounding woodlands. There is a large sunny decking on which to sunbathe and eat your meals.
Free wi-fi access anywhere in the house, LCD tv with free to air european channels.
I send to guests full details of the house, contents, location and in the post a local map and brochure prior to their holiday.

The Owner Recommends

Lots to see and do

The Crozon Peninsula Here the dramatic Atlantic coast is at its most spectacular. This beautiful Peninsula, which is part of the protected National Parks of France, is truly untouched by commercialism. It is a paradise for those who enjoy uncrowded wide sandy beaches, hidden coves, water sports of every variety, spectacular cliff top walks, quaint fishing villages, fresh sea food, markets ,and from supermarkets to boutiques -- is all self-contained on this peaceful Peninsula – and not a parking meter in sight! So much to see and do, In Landevennec Take a boat trip which goes from the quayside along the beautiful reaches of the Rade of Brest which is part of the National Parks of France. You will see the superb modern architecture of the new suspension bridge Pont de Terenez. Visit the famous Abbaye Saint Guenole de Landevennec and museum. The Abbey which is still home to Monks dates back to the 5th Century Walk along the beautiful allotted paths from the village, or have a game of tennis on the village court. (arrange in the Mairie’s office.) The village has a small restaurant, creperie and Tourist Office (in the peak season) and small general food shop. In Crozon The market square of this pretty historic town is surrounded by little shops and an interesting church, it also has a small market every day and once a week a much larger one. There are several supermarkets, doctors (who speak English) and a small hospital, vets and a Tourist Office, boutiques, Banks, restaurants, book shops etc.. Lots of wonderful uncrowded sandy beaches surround the Peninsula. La Palou is famous for surfing but all are active with water sports. There are spectacular cliff top walks all around the Peninsula. I would particularly recommend the one that runs between Morgat and Cap de la Chevre. Children will enjoy the adventure park in Crozon (from tree top trapezes , mini golf, paintballing etc.)
