The gîte is part of a newly converted stone barn; generously spacious, single storey, open plan, quality accommodation for 2 people, with the option of an additional separate bed which could be for a third adult.
The dining and kitchen area includes dining table and chairs, gas stove and oven, electric fridge with freezer box. Electric kettle and toaster. Cafetiere, teapot and general cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils. New kitchen units and worktops. S/steel sink and mixer tap.
Open plan interiors (approx 60sq metres) with large lounge area. Three piece suite, coffee-table, rugs, tiled floors, main and side lights, curtains at all windows, woodburner fire with first basket chopped wood included, tv/dvd/cd player. A glass front door leads out to a terrace garden with seating overlooking the Douffine River Valley.
The bedroom area is spacious and has a king size bed. By arrangement, an additional bed can be added to main living space, for non-couples or, to accommodate a third adult.
Generously sized shower room with extra large, solid, tiled, walk-in shower. Flat round full overhead shower and separate hand held directional shower head and, opaque glass door. Includes wc, basin, mirror, window, heated towel rail and tiled floor.
Electric heating for all year use with the addition of a wood burning stove for that extra cosy feel.
T/dvd/cd player. A selection of dvd's is available from us. There are a range of boardgames and plenty of local information and guides.
There is a terraced area outside with seating and a table. Views along the wooded river valley. There is a track outside which leads down through the woods to the river Douffine for an evening stroll. Plenty of wildlife to view.
Parking is adjacent to the gite accessed via a short gravel path.
The property is on one level apart from a small step between the bedroom and living area. There is a short gravel path between the parking and gite.
This local peninsula has loads of long sandy beaches and superb coastal walks. Wildlife, spectacular views and the port of Cameret for a selection of restaurants.
This is a fabulous traditional Breton restaurant just 10 mins from us in the picturesque town of le Faou.
