One of the best gites we have stayed in. Lots of space, very clean, beautiful garden. The owners were lovely & very helpful. Would love to return in the future.
Thank you for your comment. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to future bookings from you. David Carden.
From our first enquiry until the morning we left David and Carol could not have been more helpful. The cottage mixes traditional French architecture with contemporary furniture and comfort. The super kingsize bed is a bonus and there is more than enough storage. Unfortunately the weather was poor during our stay so we were unable to take advantage of the lovely garden and garden furniture. It was good to have Freeview UK television. Photos do not do the place justice. All rooms are larger than they look. For us the walk into Spezet was too far, but it was no problem to take the car for superb bread and croissants. Spezet itself is an ideal centre for touring. We can thoroughly recommend The Old White House. Thank you, David and Carol
Thank you very much for your kind comments, please do come again.
We stayed at this house in August and were surprised on how good it was, We arrived late about 11pm and were greeted personally shown round, as we arrived late the owners got some shopping in for us Milk bread small groceries ETC, and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, this was very useful for us as the next day was Sunday and most shops are closed. The house was clean and tidy in a quite place with private garden. Had all the mod cons including English TV/Radio. A nice Village just a small walk so we could go out for a drink and a meal and not worry about driving. Beach is about half an hour drive, lot of places to visit Ideal for us, would definitely go again.
Sonia and I stayed at the Old White House, It was spotlessly clean, we had a warm welcome and were greeted personally, It was a quiet peaceful place but walking distance to the village, There were plenty of places and towns to visit, in the heart of Brittany, will definitely go there again. Would recommend to anyone 10 out of 10
