It is Just a Short Walk to Many Beautiful Beaches. This cottage/gite is in a coastal setting.

There are about a dozen beautiful beaches within a 20 minute walk or cycle ride from this property. It is situated south of Nevez at Tremorvezen, approximately 1.2km walk from Rospico Beach and 2km walk from Raguenez Beach via paths. With its enclosed garden, it is an ideal and safe property for children.
The property is an older style Breton house which has been renovated and extended to provide a comfortable family holiday home and has a few idiosyncracies
There is a fully equipped and modern kitchen/utility room and a spacious dining area with seating for 8. There is a double bedroom complete with shower and wash hand basin on the ground floor. The ground floor has a comfortable lounge with tv (satellite) and dvd, 2 seater and 3 seater couches and electric stove. Also on the ground floor is a shower in the utility room, ideal for washing off the sand, and separate wc. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, spacious 'children's bedroom' with 2 bunk beds and cot and small bathroom with wc and bath with shower attachment.

There are local courses for sailing and surfing. Go online and search for surf schools under ecolesurffinistere. Go online for sailing and windsurfing schools and type in oceanbox.


Immediate access to beautiful coastal walks and country lanes. The authentic Breton hamlet of Kerascoet with its thatched roofs is only 500m away. Enjoy a relaxing drink in the hamlet's delightful café/bar.

In general terms we found it satisfactory accommodation. But at the price paid it rates somewhat lower than most of the other Holiday France properties in Brittany that we have stayed in.
There were only two of us. Had we been a party of four adults and four children, I don't think we would have been very happy with the bathing and toilet facilities.
One other point. The directions were excellent. But having arrived, it was at least ten minutes before we could get in. The key safe was difficult because the catch was stiff and not being familiar with it, I didn't want to break it by forcing it. However, the front door was the greater problem, just trying to figure out the combination of key turning that would actually unlock it. A short note included with the directions would make a lot of difference.
