A two bedroom rural cottage built in 1904 on the edge of the hamlets of Quenequen and Kerean. The property is in the heart of a farming community and an hour from the port of Roscoff. St Malo is two hours by car with local airports at Brest and Dinan (St Malo).
The property offers off road parking, a decking area to enjoy the sun and a large grassed area to the side. Inside the cosy lounge is equipped with a wood burning fire for which fuel is provided and comfortable sitting. The lounge also has a television receiving free to air UK television (FreeSat), French terrestrial TV, and a dvd player with a small supply of family friendly films which play in both French and English.
The kitchen offers a gas hob, built in electric oven, a microwave, kettle, toaster and a comfortable table and chairs.
On the ground floor also is the bathroom with a bath, shower, wash basin and toilet.
An attached utility area on the ground floor houses the standard sized fridge and washing machine in addition to providing an indoor drying area if required.
The first floor has two bedrooms, the master has a comfortable double bed, plenty of drawer and hanging space and an attached en suite comprising wash basin and toilet. The second bedroom has two full size single beds and again plenty of hanging and drawer space. Annexed to the second bedroom is a dressing room with futher drawer space.
** Internet access with enabled WiFi is available for guests at the property.
** There is a small local (English owned) bar within an easy ten minute walk which also serves food from 1700 to 2100 daily.
A well appointed kitchen equipped for four people fully equipped for your self-catering break including gas hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is an electric wall heater in the kitchen.
Cosy lounge with a two seater sofa and casual chairs equipped with tv, dvd Terrestrial French and FreeSat UK television. A selection of family friendly dvds are available.
Two bedrooms; the master has a comfortable double bed, plenty of storage and an en suite (wash basin and toilet only). The second bedroom has two single beds and an attached dressing room together with ample storage. Both rooms are heated by electric heaters. A travel cot is available on request.
The bathroom is on the ground floor comprising wash basin, bath and incorporated shower, with a separate toilet.
The lounge is fitted with a wood burning fire for which fuel is provided, the upstairs, kitchen and bathroom are fitted with electric heaters.
A modern flat screen tv is provided in the lounge with free to air UK channels, terrestial French channels, and a DVD player with a selection of family friendly DVDs which play in both French and English. The internet is available throughout the property through WiFi access.
There is a lawned area to the side, and garden seating area to the rear. The property has off road parking.

The bedrooms are on the first floor so may not be suitable for the wheelchair dependant or mobility impaired.
The attached utility provides a washing machine and indoor drying area. There is also ample space for storage of bicycles with separate outside access.
We moved full time to France in 2013 and now run a smallholding not far from this holiday home, which was our first house purchase in France in 2009. The stunning north coast of Brittany is within 30 minutes by car with its granite cliffs and sandy beaches. Within easy travel are access to golf courses, swimming pools, walks for all abilities, fishing, and of course plenty of cycling. As a base this house offers both a central location with secure dry storage for those who need it. The availability of the property is very flexible you can come for a couple of days or a couple of months even out of season, ask us if we can accomodate your needs and we will try our utmost to say YES.|

Most Sundays there are local vide grenier (street markets) offering everything from local produce to things you never thought you needed!
Within a two hour drive there are historic towns of Concarneau, Morlaix, and Quimper which are filled with historic buildings and "round the walls" walks.
The nearby town of Huelgoat offers a history steeped in Arthurian legend with river and forest walks. There are also several creperies and bars for your enjoyment.
The valley of the Saints heritage site is well worth a visit with its granite carvings overlooking breathtaking views of the countryside. Nearby is the small church of St Gildas which houses a collection of local history and photographs.
