This 'cottage' is a very well appointed 4-bedroom house in the quiet village of La Feuillee, which has a bakery, tabac, creperie, and not much else except friendly locals and acres of countryside !
Within easy driving distance there are walks with brilliant views, lakes with beaches and walks (and a cafe/restaurant and the possibility of kayak/paddleboard/dinghy hire), a couple of very good horse-riding centres with great countryside to charge through, rivers and canals for kayaking & walking, interesting towns for wandering around, a very good swimming pool, and the seaside resorts Brittany is famous for.
Although there is a significant ex-pat population this area is very French (Breton, to be more accurate) so although it's a relatively short trip from the UK (approx. 40 mins drive from the port at Roscoff) it really feels like another country.
The house is great - spacious and comfortable with all the mod cons desirable for an easy holiday (ie. dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi etc.).
I wouldn't recommend this property if you're looking for a 'beach' holiday, but it's perfect if you're looking for a base to explore this part of France, or to do nothing & relax !
