|Why this location?||Close to the beach on a beautiful stretch of coastline.|
|Unique benefits of property||Recently renovated villa on one level with covered heated shared pool, panoramic sea views and direct access to the beach (80m), resort and ferry port of Roscoff just 16km.|
The charming fishing port of Mogueriec lies at the mouth of the protected Anse du Guillec estuary with a lovely sandy beach. Nearby there is the imposing 15th century fortified Kérouzéré Chateau.
Lovely sandy beach just 200m from the property.
Close by Roscoff (16km) is more than just a ferry port (sailings to and from Plymouth). Attractive 16th century granite buildings nestle against the coastline, the streets filled with restaurants, bars, charming little art galleries and gift shops. Across a narrow stretch of water from the quaint harbour is the tiny Ile de Batz, a beautiful island well worth a visit. Roscoff is also home to La Maison des Johnnies et de l'Oignon de Roscoff. This Museum of the Onion Johnnies celebrates the well-known onion merchants who arrived in Britain on their bicycles selling onions door-to-door who made famous the caricature image of the Frenchman in a beret on a bike laden with onions.
Ile de Batz is a small, pretty island situated opposite Roscoff and accessed by a 15-minute boat crossing. There are several walks on this mainly car free island which is less than 4km long and superb far-reaching views from the lighthouse.
