There is a superb aquarium at St. Malo - recommended by several visitors to the apartment.
There are outdoor markets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Great range of goods - especially clothes and shoes! The daily indoor market, open from 7.30 till 13.00 is great for all fresh produce.
A few minutes walk from Le Prieure beach. Walking, swimming, riding, tennis, cycling, watersports etc.
Many restaurants within walking distance.
You are spoilt for choice by the number of excellent restaurants in Dinard. Le Concaven, near the plage de l'Ecluse is really good value. L'Abri des Flots serves the very best food, and the Grand Large (inside the Casino) has fabulous views!
There are several surfing and windsurfing schools along the seafront.
Great area for walking/strolling/rambling. The walks along the coast from bay to bay are particularly scenic!
We have been staying here for many years thanks to the generosity and helpful nature of the owner. We love the facilities it offers, and its location means I can park the car when we arrive and not move it (except for one big shopping trip) for the whole week - my idea (as the driver) of Heaven.

My Wife and I found Mrs Reed's apartment by chance, obviously from Brittany Ferries catalogue. We have now been on consecutive years, five times, and have already booked for 2013. To say that it is home from home sums it up for us, and we do our best to ensure that we treat it fondly. In giving the 'setting' only 8, is due to the fact that as a ground floor apartment, there is no broad expanse of holiday view to be enjoyed, but as a bonus, a nice quiet secluded lawned garden. Amenities at 8 is because there are no immediately local facilities, apart from the bus stop around the corner. However the lovely town is about 15 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car, and the choices for everything then at hand. The problem with saying how nice it is, is that we could find ourselves unable to book it in future. Mrs Reed has ensured that our holidays in her apartment have been just as we wished for, and it is very nice to feel part of the French community that the rest of the building consists of.
I now feel that Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan are old friends!

The apartment was really lovely. It was clean and comfortable and very well equipped.
Superb furnishings and a private patio aea. A very good base for visiting St Malo and surrounding towns and villages and of course the walks along the beaches and coastal paths at Dinard itself are wonderful.
The owner of the property was very friendly and readily contactable by email. She made the arrangements for collection of keys etc easy for us.
We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and shall be re-booking.
We ate in most of the time - the indoor market at Dinard is excellent.
We have returned year after year to this very comfortable and well equipped holiday apartment in a beautiful area. The local coast paths are superb for walking. We thoroughly recommend it and consider it suitable for mature couples, holidaying with friends and families with young children.
