Beautiful fishing village famed for its seafood restaurants.
Stunning romantic ruined castle with old moat and curtain wall lost in the countryside only 10mins away.
Famed for its castle and the birthplace of Romanticism.
Beautiful medieval town. City walls, port, shopping, fine restaurants, antique markets etc.
Art deco English holiday resort, home of the British Film Festival (Oct). Fine restaurants and deco villas.
10 mins walk from the Gite is the local town of Dol. Dating from Roman times, its medieval cathedral is of special interest. Home of the Stuarts, sacked by William the Conqueror on his way to England, Dol has a long history. Saturday market each week; good restaurants, museum, cathedral, swimming pool, cinema and, of course, shopping.
The most visited tourist site in France.
Visit the old pirate town of St. Malo with its city walls, beaches, fine restaurants etc
A wonderful place to relax. Nothing to complain. Very nice owners. Perfect also for families with children. Pets allowed.
I would recommend this property to friends, family and clients.
Dol de Bretagne is a small and very nice village with some good restaurants.
" Saint Samson" or "La Flambée". There are 3 big supermarkets and very nice bakeries.
We will visit "La Tertre Ychot" next year again!
We all loved this place and did not want to leave, we wished we had booked a longer stay. Our hosts Peter and Jane were very friendly and helpful and a joy to talk to. The Gite itself was well placed for visiting places like Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel and the Normandy landing sites and more.
It is also just outside the village of Dol de Bretange which in itself is worth a visit and has a lovely Main Street with all facilities.
The accommodation itself is well equipped, has rural character and is in a fantastic relaxing country location. All five of us would recommend this as a great place to stay.
The place is very great also peter who welcome us very well.
Everything was nice, the house, the garden and the village near our place.
If i can give you a piece of advice, go there.
