Le Pont Dauphin is a beautiful house, the rooms are huge and there is lots of space for children to entertain themselves outside. It’s very rural and peaceful, or at least it was before we got there!
The hosts were a lovely couple and very helpful. We would all thoroughly recommend staying here.

We found Le Pont Dauphin idyllic! - The photos don’t to justice to the sheer size of the property - it’s far larger than one would think! The outside steps lead into a very large, well-equipped kitchen with a small dining area. A short staircase leads down to a roomy and comfortable TV room on the one side, and a few steps in the other direction to a huge dining room (with the largest dining table I’ve ever seen), and from there into a gorgeous sun lounge! The decorations and furniture throughout are very tasteful, and the rooms were scrupulously clean. Upstairs is divided into two large, unconnected separate sleeping accommodations comprising bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets etc. (There is also a separate toilet and shower on the ground floor.) The large south-west facing external terrace with its tables and chairs was superb for dining al fresco! The (fenced and gated) swimming pool with numerous sun-loungers was great, as were the swings, climbing ropes etc for the children. Also, the huge indoor playing area (a converted barn) - very well equipped - was a real hit for the children! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and Chris and Frank couldn’t have been more helpful. We give Le Pont Dauphin a 5-Star rating. Highly recommended for a large party! (We were 10, but the Gîte and Cottage could have comfortably housed a few more.) We look forward to our next visit!
