Our apartment (540 sq. feet) in the centre of Dinard, is calm, comfortable, clean and bright, and benefits from a small private enclosed garden and its own allocated parking. It sleeps up to 4 persons.
It is located on the ground floor of a small residence but has its own private entrance, with access via an alleyway and so is offset from the street for a traffic free stay.
Bed linen, duvets, pillows are supplied, electric heating/hot water, coat hangers, iron and table, vacuum cleaner, smoke detector, shutters to all frenchwindows.
We can also supply baby equipment for young families: travelcot and bedding, highchair, babybath and potty. Mobile wi-fi (Three) can be set up by prior arrangement (extra cost).
Opens to the living room, and is well equipped: fridge with freezer compartment, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine.
You will find that the kitchen is also well equipped with china, cutlery, pots etc. for if you feel like cooking all the fresh produce you have purchased in the market.
Dining inside or outside: table and 4 chairs in living room and outdoor dining set in the garden.
With a sea side/relaxed feel, the large living room includes the dining table and 4 chairs, a flat screen tv (French TNT channels) with USB/HDMI connections, a dvd player, 2 settees (convertible into single beds 3’ x 6’7”), shelves etc.
The sunshine streams in most of the day through the 2 french windows, and there is direct access to the garden.
One bedroom is tastefully decorated and is peaceful and restful. It comprises twin beds (3’ x 6’7”) that can be joined as desired, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, an armchair, small tables etc.
Two french windows afford direct access to the garden and all day sunshine (but you can keep the blinds closed if it bothers you).
The tiled bathroom includes a shower over bath, a bidet, a wash basin. Separate toilets.
Electric heaters throughout.
Tv, dvd player, wi-fi by arrangement.
Boardgames, beach umbrella and mat.
The small garden comprises a patio/deck/terrace (170 sq. feet) and is enclosed by a green hedge, to preserve privacy from walkers by. It is SW facing, garden furniture include sun shade, table and 4 chairs.

Access is relatively easy for persons with reduced mobility (ask owner for details): the front door is approximately 15m from the allocated parking space; 1 step for the front door, 1 step to the garden.
Sleeps 2-4: Ideal for a couple, or a young family, or friends.
Bonjour. I have lived and worked in Britain for over 30 years, but my husband and I found this little place so that we can recharge our batteries in Brittany every now and then. We have 2 grown up daughters and all visit Dinard as often as we can.

|Why this location?||Dinard is easily reached from the UK, especially using Brittany Ferries to St Malo. This is one of the most accessible areas of France: you can catch a ferry or a plane from various parts of the UK, to: St Malo (20-25 mins by car) from Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands; to Dinard (the Airport is a 5-10 mins drive) via RyanAir from London, Bristol or East Midlands. Other transport options include ferries to Caen or Cherbourg or flights to Rennes. There is also a high speed rail links (TGV) to St Malo.
The town is lively in summer, and offers both entertainment and peace. You can chose either, it depends on your activities. Beaches are but 10 mins walk, and so are shops, art galleries, bars/cafes, market, etc. You can come over from the UK without a car, or if you bring one, you can park it and forget about it for the duration.

There is a resume of ideas for outings and practical information for you to use in the flat, but by the way of an introduction: leave the car on the allocated parking space and stroll leisurely within 10 mins to the lovely sandy beaches, but also to the supermarkets, the market (3 times a week) and covered market, the shops, designer boutiques and art galleries. Dinard and St Enogat are rich in art history and architecture which are best explored on foot. The coastal walk is a great place for a jog, a day hike or just a romantic stroll. Also on offer are casinos, café/bars, restaurants, cinemas, indoor and outdoor sea-water swimming pools, and Thalassotherapy in St Enogat or St Malo. (A sea-bus linking Dinard and St Malo leaves from the quay 15 min walk away).
For adventures further afield, you could catch a bus to Dinan, St Malo or St Briac at a bus stop near the residence, or cycle down the old railway line (La voie verte) to Dinan (13 mins).
With a car, destinations of note include: Mont St Michel, St Malo, Dinan, Cancale, the beaches and villages of the Cote d’Emeraude and of the Rance River.
