La Binellerie Gentilhommiere is a 17th century farmhouse and outbuildings in the peaceful countryside close to St Malo.
The Gentilhommiere is the main farmhouse and has been sympathetically renovated, retaining all the original oak beams, floorboards and staircase to provide a unique holiday gite for 4 guests. Set in 1.6 hectares of gardens and farmland it is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.
In the dining area there is a pine table with seating for 6, and a door leads out to the fully equipped hand made oak kitchen. There is a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner and dishwasher.
The views through the windows are n to your private patio and gardens beyond.
The spacious sitting room has comfortable sofas and a pellet burning stove. There us a large screen tv with both French and English stations, and a Blu-ray player with a small collection of recent popular films.
There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double room with en suite shower room and 1 twin bedded room with its own shower room off the landing. There is room in the double room for a cot or a child’s bed if needed.
The double room has an en suite shower room, and the twin room has its own shower room leading from the landing.
There is a pellet burning stove in the sitting room, and central heating when needed. In each shower room there is a heated towel rail.
The large screen tv in the sitting room has both French and English stations and a Blu-ray player with a selection of recent popular films. There is also a selection of paperback books and boardgames.
On the private patio there is a table and chairs, sunloungers, and a bbq, also a seating area in the garden.
There is plenty of space to park either in front of the house or undercover if needed. Cycles or motorbikes can be parked safely under the hangar.
In the laundry room there is a washing machine and tumble dryer for the use of guests.
We bought this 1665 farmhouse and outbuidings in 1996, and have been slowly been doing the renovations, and developing the gardens. Eventually, 11 years ago I started doing B&B in the main house, and we now have 2 Gites, another 2 bedroomed gite will be ready for the 2019 season.

The beautiful beaches along the Cote D’Emeraude are too numerous to mention by name, and whether walking or cycling or just relaxing in one of the many restaurants, there is so much to see & do in this area of Brittany.
St Suliac (4kms) is a pretty riverside village. It has 3 good restaurants including a creperie, a seafood restaurant and a cafe/ bar with wonderful views of the river. There is also a beach, and a sailing club.
St Malo (13kms) is an old walled town (Intra Muros) with pretty cobbled streets and a very large choice of restaurants.
St Malo is the nearest ferry port for Brittany ferries, and train station where the TGV goes frequently to Paris.
Dinan (15kms) is a medieval, walled town with cobbled streets and beautiful timber framed buildings.
There is a weekly market and also more restaurants on the river front where you can also take a boat trip on the river Rance.
Dinard (16kms) is a seaside holiday town with lots of beautiful beaches.
There is a also a good, cosmopolitan market 3 times a week and at nearby Pleurtuit the nearest airport for Ryanair.
Cancale (20kms) is a coastal town famous for its oyster beds. A wonderful choice of seafood restaurants.
Le Mont St Michel (30kms) is one of the most visited places in France.
